"Very busy executive would like to hire a writer to send emails on his behalf on personal dating websites. And do a few emails back and forth to get the ball rolling.
This person needs to know how to write in a masculine, but romantic way and at the same time create a challenge for the reader of the emails."

Wow. SHADES OF CYRANO DE BERGERAC?
Does it surprise you that this ad appeared in Los Angeles?
What is that rushing noise?
Ray-Anne working on a story idea while HER brain engine turns over the possible implications of that one.
Now. What kind of heroine would apply for the job?
Then of course fall for this executive who is too busy to write his own letters to prospective dates.
I can already hink of a couple of scenarios where this situation could be worked up - can't you?
I love this. And who said that truth is stranger than fiction.
Now excuse me while I print this one out for my ideas file. I may even use it.
Unless of course you do first. Except there are so many others like this out there that you would never get around to writing them all.
So, next time someone asks where you get your ideas from - you can tell them, the job ads.

Wow, what a great premise - well, are you going to write it? big grin.
Hi Nell [ waves] .
Of course I will , big grin.
The working title is:
'Would Like to Meet' and there will be a first draft by end Dec.
Right after I finish editing the current two stories and sending them off, complete another romantic comedy outline and ,,
Oh. Maybe in the New Year.
LOL. Yes, I think I probably will write this one, or something on a similar line by a bit of lateral thinking.
One idea? Turn the premise on its head and make it a female executive looking for a hero. She falls for the guy she hires to write the messages.
Think it would work?
I have just been sanding my wooden bench down before putting it away for the winter, and could not stop thinking about the heroine, and why and where. So I will let that idea ferment for a while in the basement on its own and come back to it when the wine is ready to decant.
Or pour it down the sink as drain cleaner.
One of the two.
Sometimes it is hard to be disciplined and complete the work you have already almost completed.
Sigh.
Did you see some of the other jobs advertised on that site? Crazy man. Just crazy.
Now back to the sanding. See ya.
